Directions: The cemetery is located north of Enumclaw, off highway 169. West on 416th ave SE, on the corner of 416th and 236th, watch for the "cemetery entrance" sign.

Background:

(Enumclaw) Evergreen Memorial Park was established in 1890 and comprised of two separate cemeteries, one known as "Enumclaw Cemetery" and other as the Catholic, "Holy Cross Cemetery". At some point, Enumclaw Cemetery was incorporated into Evergreen Cemetery Association. By 1958, the City of Enumclaw assumed ownership of Evergreen. In 1971, the City acquired Holy Cross Cemetery and merged the two into what is known today as Evergreen Memorial Park.

Earliest burials date from its establishment in 1890, but older stones can be found pertaining to remains transferred from several locations in the vicinity. While the City owns the cemetery, it is operated by Weeks' Funeral Home and governed by a Cemetery Board.
