Directions: Located west of downtown Port Townsend, the cemetery sits along the west side of Discovery Rd, between 24th and 22nd streets.

Background: The "present" Laurel Grove Cemetery was established in 1871, when the Masonic lodge purchased about 11 acres on Discovery Road (near 22nd Avenue) to serve as the community’s cemetery. When the cemetery was established in 1871, remains from earlier burial grounds in Port Townsend were relocated into the new Laurel Grove grounds.
