Directions: The location of the graves is in a sparsely timbered area, some 50 yards to the west of the bottom of the nearby draw, and not far from the fence line between sections 32 and 33. Location: In SW corner of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4, Sec 32, T10N, R43E, Willamette Meridian. Note: The GPS coordinates are an approximation based on the PLSS description, and the graves are likely within 200 feet from here in any direction.

Background: Early Peola settlers, John B. & Teresa Dick, homesteaded in the area in 1874. Two sons of the Dicks were to die here, and were buried on the homestead. There are no markers, and there is nothing to locate the grave sites now, but for years mounds of dirt were there.
