Memorial Cemetery of College Station is the newer city-owned cemetery of College Station, TX. A ground breaking ceremony was held on April 19, 2008. It's first burial occurred on July 8, 2009, that of Joseph Wallace. The dedication ceremony occurred on July 17, 2009.
Aggie Field of Honor is a special section of the cemetery set aside for former students and faculty of Texas A&M University.
The cemetery was built on 56.57 acres of land that had been broken up into parcels owned by the city and the university.
