Directions: Located along the south side of French Broad River, right on the east end of the bridge, along John Sevier Highway (Highway 168).

Background: East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on E. Governor John Sevier Highway 68 was established in August 2011. This cemetery has a capacity of 4,475 plots. It was created in response to the other "East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery" on Lyons View Pike, established in 1990, reaching capacity. Today, this newer cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Hwy receives all the newer burials between the two.
