Directions: Located north-west of Morovis proper, the main entrance to the cemetery lies along the west side of PR-137, about 6.6 KM from Morovis.

Background: Morovis National Cemetery was dedicated on December 12, 2020, by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, becoming the sixth VA national cemetery dedicated that year and the 153rd VA National Cemetery overall.

The cemetery's origins stem from a capacity crisis at the existing Puerto Rico National Cemetery in Bayamón, which was dedicated in 1949 and was expected to deplete new burial options by 2022. Morovis National Cemetery was constructed specifically as a replacement cemetery for the Bayamón facility.

At 247 total acres, Morovis National Cemetery was designed to serve more than 150,000 Veterans and their eligible family members.
