Background: All Nations Veterans Cemetery was established by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe on the Standing Rock Reservation near Fort Yates, North Dakota, with a dedication ceremony held on July 29, 2019. The cemetery was made possible through a $4.9 million grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration. The cemetery, which sits on eight (8) acres, is designed to serve more than 2,200 Native American veterans and their families.
