Directions: Located within the city limits of Jennings, in the northeast corner of the city, the cemetery is adjacent to Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home on its north side. Best way to get there is to take Evangeline Highway (Highway 97) east. The entrance to the veterans home and cemetery is just after Calvary Cemetery.

Background: The Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs broke ground on the construction of the cemetery in November 2018, and on March 6, 2020, Governor John Bel Edwards dedicated the cemetery. On May 7, 2020, Marine SGT Ted Cox Sr. was the first to be interred, and we held our first committal service for Army SP4 Ed Gary on June 11, 2020.
