Directions: From court house in Talbotton, go south on US 80 about 3 1/2 miles, turn left on Carlisle Road and go about 1/2 mile. The cemetery is on the left about 100 yds. from 2nd bend in Carlisle Road.

Background: Based on the account of Elizabeth Steed Findley (1909-1986) the cemetery originated with the death of a young boy in 1857, who was buried outside the home of his family.
