Directions: Located in the southern park of Monrovia's city limits, the main entrance to the cemetery is at the south side of E Duarte Ave the west side of Calfornia Ave.

Background: Live Oak Memorial Park was founded in 1887 as a pioneer cemetery to serve early settlers and those who ventured west to establish new lives in California. Over a century later, in 1962, the Turner & Stevens mortuary, now known as Turner & Stevens Live Oak Mortuary. was established on the grounds. The adjoining chapel followed with its grand opening in 1965, later enhanced with a privacy-focused remodel in 2013. More recently, a new mausoleum was unveiled in 2017.
