Background: Olive Lawn Memorial Park originated as Graceland Cemetery in 1924. The Peebler Family purchased and renamed it Olive Lawn Memorial Park in the 1950s, and it remains one of Southern California's few family-operated cemeteries. Now run by third and fourth generations of Peeblers, the cemetery has hosted an annual Memorial Day observance with VFW Post 9148. The cemetery sits strategically on the LA-Orange County border.
