Directions: Located inside the community of Big Sandy Rancheria, just east of Auberry. From Fresno, take State Route 168 east. Just beyond the town of Prather, follow signs to Auberry and Big Sandy Rancheria, taking Auberry Rd north. Once past Auberry town center, remain on Auberry Rd, following signs to Big Sandy Rancheria and Mono Wind Casino, turning left on Jose Basin Rd. Follow this road into the community of Big Sandy Rancheria. Continue on Auberry Mission Rd, cemetery is at the end, signs on the left.

Background: Big Sandy Veterans Memorial was completed with a dedication on June 14, 2016. Funds were donated by National Cemetery Administration, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It is the second such tribal veterans cemetery in California, and seventh in the nation.
