Directions: Located near the south-east portion of of the city, the cemetery sits outside of El Cerrito's boundaries, with it's main entrance at the intersection of Fairmount Ave, Colusa Ave, and Carmel Ave.

Background: Sunset View Cemetery was founded in April of 1908, as a small country cemetery in the Berkeley Hills. Aaron Stiles Blake was one of the original founders of Sunset View as well as Chairman of the Board for more than 50 years. George P. Baxter, President of Berkeley National Bank, became part of the organization in 1918.

Today, Sunset View Cemetery is now the dominant cemetery serving the city of El Cerrito and neighboring communities.
