Directions: Located inside Monte Calvario Cemetery, within the Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation, in the extreme south-west portion of Tucson. Take Interstate 19 south to W. Valencia Rd exit and head west. Turn left on S Camino Del Oeste, then turn right on W Los Reales Rd, then left on S Camino Cocoim, then right on W. Calle Tetakusim, then left on S Tuivit, then right on Omoko. Proceed straight into the cemetery.
Background: This is the tribal cemetery for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. Because many of its tribal members joined the military, it received funding from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to erect a veterans memorial and carve out a section for veteran burials.
