Background: ADVS broke ground at Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at Marana on November 8, 2014. The first interment at the cemetery was March 14, 2016. The cemetery was made possible by a grant from the Department of Veterans Affair-State Cemetery Grant Service. The grant covered the construction and equipment needed to create the cemetery.
