Directions: Located on the west side of S Buffalo Soldier Trail, on the north-western edge of the city limits. Entrance to the cemetery is at the intersection of S Buffalo Soldier Trail and E Golf Links Rd.

Background: ADVS broke ground at Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery on October 2, 2001. The first interment at the cemetery was December 3, 2002. The cemetery was made possible by a $7.7 million grant from the Department of Veterans Affair-State Cemetery Grant Service. The grant covered the construction and equipment needed to create the cemetery.
