The Weeks Cemetery is located in Bentinck Twp, six miles south of Westhope, Bottineau county ND then five miles west, and one mile north on the prairie trail.

The Weeks family donated the land for this cemetery. At one time First Presbyterian Church was located on this site, on the cemetery's south fence. Today, the church is now located inside the town of Westhope, and still owns the land.

The cemetery is kept in very good condition after the Presbyterian Church in Westhope got some volunteers together and cleaned it up and put up a new fence. The Huber family has kept it up for the last several years up to this date.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
