Garrett Cemetery used to be known as, "Robert M. White Cemetery".

The cemetery is located on private property about 300 feet from the north side of Fossick Lane, and about 400 feet east of the intersection with Mill Creek Loop. The cemetery is overgrown with trees and sits on the top of a small hill.

The land was once a part of property owned by Robert M. White and was intended as a family burying ground. The USGS had named this cemetery "Garrett Cemetery" on its topographical maps, and that name was copied by other maps and transcriptions. The land eventually passed into the hands of the Gaisser family, and then was sold in 2017 to the Grisham family.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
