History

Established in 1883, Regina Cemetery is one of Saskatchewan’s oldest urban cemeteries. With over 30,000 plots, there are many historical figures buried at Regina Cemetery including lives lost in the 1912 Regina Tornado, Spanish influenza, the north-west rebellion and the 1935 Regina Riot. There are approximately 50 interments each year. Regina cemetery is still open to new interments.
