Turn left at that corner and the cemetery is situated adjacent to the Holy Trinity Church, only a short distance down the road.
Background: The unique landscaping of this beautiful cemetery reflects the importance of nature and landscapes in this area. It lies on a hill above Maple Grove, and overlooks Trout Lake, Lake William, and the hills and valleys below. It is a poignant site where many gravestones bring to mind that the immigrants came from the British Islands to Maple Grove. The Maple Grove Anglican Cemetery Foundation does a wonderful job of maintaining this still active cemetery. The Holy Trinity Church can be seen from the Southern end of the cemetery, and although it is not used on a regular basis now, each year on the second Sunday in August, there is an annual Church Service where folk can gather and pay tribute to their departed ancestors, friends and neighbours.
