Directions: The town of Waterville is located about half way between Lennoxville and North Hatley. From Lennoxville follow Route 143 South (Sud), and from North Hatley follow 143 North (Nord). There are several small roads that lead to Waterville but the simplest for visitors is to follow the main sign for Waterville which lies east of route 143. Turn left on Main Street (rue Principale). The cemetery is on your left just at the edge of town. This cemetery is located across the street from the Greenwood Cemetery on Main Street, (rue principal) in Waterville.

Background: This cemetery is associated with the Assumption of the Happy Virgin Mary Church (Assomption de la Bienheureuse Vierge-Marie) and is usually referred to as the Catholic Cemetery of Waterville. It was established around 1900 with a mixture of French and English Catholics.
