Directions: From Montreal, go east on the Autoroute #10, take exit 106, then routes 245 and 243. Pass through Mansonville, turn right on the Missisquoi Valley Road. The Cemetery Road is not well indicated but is situated mid-way between Dunkin & Glen Sutton, Very easily missed so must drive at a reasonable speed to see the handmade sign.
Background: This cemetery was established about 1870, although there are inscriptions much older. Carlyle Brock had an immense gate made in his name because he had donated a section of land in 1950, although 30 years before this, Alonzo Aiken had already sold a second portion of land to the Cemetery Association.
Miller, Davis, Leavitt, Barnett, and Jones are amongst the more prominent families buried here. This is a non-denominational, cemetery, which explains the variety of names. It is a well kept cemetery.
This is an old cemetery and there are stones in an unreadable state, damaged mostly by the elements.
