History of Cemetery Records Online

The eighth design launched on March 2006. It utilized the full screen, and tried to advance the move towards simplicity, and clean design.

This design tried to explain on the homepage the what Interment.net is about in a short concise way.

Also notice the images of swallows flying in the upper-right corner. This was an attempt to create some kind of motif that could extend elsewhere.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
