Campbell Cemetery

This cemetery is on the corner of Church and Hemlock streets in Richwood WV, which is south of the Cherry River.

I could not find a name of a cemetery, so I chose to name it the oldest marker in the cemetery. If anyone knows, I will be happy to correct it.

There are 2 markers here, the Hanna marker is a double stone. the Campbell marker is 4 feet high. I would guess it is about 8 inches square with Campbell names on 3 sides. Hattie and Mollie's dates are unreadable. This Campbell marker is broken off at the ground. Two markers are all that is left here. There appear to be several other unmarked gravesites.

I walked and read this cemetery in 2002. This consists of all existing and legible headstones or markers.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
