Directions: On the Yawkey side of Sumerco Mountain. The entrance is across the road from the old Sumerco Church of God.

This cemetery was developed by Earl and Martha Tackett on Feb. 14, 1964. It is owned and maintained by the Orchard Hill Memory Gardens, Inc. and is in excellent condition.

The inscriptions listed here are abbreviated versions of the actual text on the headstones. All military markers will be noted with beside the name. If I have estimated a birth date then I will denote it with cDOB (calculated date of birth).

I walked and read this cemetery in Nov/Dec of 2004.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
