Freethinkers Cemetery
Sauk County, Wisconsin

Lat: 43° 19' 52"N, Lon: 89° 52' 48"W
Honey Creek Township, Section 22

Contributed by Kathy Waddell, Apr 16, 2003, last edited Oct 10, 2005 [kaffe03@yahoo.com]. Total records = 103.

Location: Hwy PF west off Hwy 12 to Slotty Road. 2-1/2 miles north on the right side.

This cemetery is also known as Andrew Roll Cemetery, Andrew Roll Free Cemetery and Freigemeinde Cemetery.

There are metal frames at the front of the cemetery. They are unmarked but it is believed that infants are buried there.

The cemetery was originally copied by the Wisconsin Old Cemeteries Association in May 19, 1975. It was these records that I used to verify stones that had become unreadable or were not longer there.

I surveyed and copied this cemetery on Sep 01, 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
