Location: County K (Myrtle Street), north of Reedsburg. There are four cemeteries at this location. Calvary is past St. Peter's and Greenwood on the right side. Across the street is St. John's. The last driveway off County K, to the right is Calvary. The second to the last driveway runs between Calvary (to the left) and Greenwood (to the right).

This cemetery is maintained by the Calvary Cemetery Association and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg WI. The first burial was in February of 1911. Several stones show dates before that time but in such cases bodies were moved from other cemeteries.

Sections A, B, & F were copied west to east. Sections C, D, & E were copied east to west. The Children's Section is labeled CS and the row number. It is located in the northern most section of the cemetery in the last two rows behind Section E. It was copied from east to west. The sections are labeled as follows: Looking from the street, the section all the way to the left, next to a residence is Section E. Across the road to the front is a large section divided by large trees and a large white cross. Section C is to the left and section D to the right. Directly behind section C and across a driveway is section B and directly behind section D is section A. The section farthest back and across a driveway from A & B is section F.

I first visited this cemetery and verified this information on Aug 3, 2001. I then rewalked & updated this on May 25, 2008.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
