There is a plaque at this cemetery with the name of the cemetery and township and was erected by the Rome Sesquicentennial Committee 1848 - 1998. This cemetery is in poor shape. There are few stones left standing and many down, turned over, broken, etc., so I did the best I could.

Transcribed 8/31/2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
