Total records = 4.
Knight Cemetery or Pettyjohn Cemetery in Walla Walla County is located
between Prescott and Eureka, Wa. on a knoll above the Touchet River. It
is said to be about 10 miles West of Prescott on the North side of the
road about 1/8 mile off the road in the center of a wheat field in Sec
2 T9N R35E.
It was established in 1868 by Johnathan and Hannah Warner
Pettyjohn at the death of their infant son. The number of burials is
uncertain as it is now a plowed wheat field. In October of 1999 this
cemetery was not found. This information is transcribed by Rella Gleaton
from the records of Garland Wilson, area historian.
