To get to Napoleon Cemetery: off Hwy 395, take Napoleon Road, cross the bridge and turn right, about a half-mile down that road and turn left up the hill. Steep going in. Go up the hill, and past a 2-story farm house, keep right in the field. Cemetery will be just down from the houses. Road exits back onto main road.

Cemetery is located on a bench above the Kettle River. We actually found this cemetery a little hard to find. Some work has been done on it, clearing brush & etc, so found all the graves accessible, and headstones readable. There are several unmarked graves, and others have a stake in the ground with the name written on the stake.

A few names were added from previous records we had. They have been placed in parenthesis.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
