Driving Directions

Located 1/2 way between Meridian & Mountain Highway on south side of Stringtown Road in Eatonville WA.

Head South on Meridian (Highway 161). Turn Right (heading West) onto Eatonville Cut-Off Road (76 gas station on corner). Take first Left onto Stringtown Road. Turn Left at 78th Road East (sign at entrance says "Rainier Cemetery". Cemetery is enclosed in a chain-link fence.

First burial was in 1894. Most recent was June 2001 (which did not have an actual headstone yet). This cemetery is also referred to as, "Rainier Free Cemetery", "Stringtown Cemetery", "Pioneers Cemetery", and "Indian Cemetery".
