Memaloose Island Burials
Klickitat County, Washington
Contributed by Douglas L. Taylor, Dec 18, 2000 [highprairie@gorge.net].
The remains of the Indians buried on Memaloose Island were removed to
other burial grounds when the water was raised. This is a list of those
disinterred from Memaloose Island and buried in Hartland Cemetery, Lot
4 block 3 on Feb 11, 1957. The numbers at the end of each line are apparently
the box numbers.
