To reach the Sokol Cemetery, drive west on Pennsylvania Ave to Memorial
Rd where you take a left. Stay on this road around the corner to the right,
then onto the dirt road and up the hill. This cemetery is the last one
on the west end of the upper road next to St Barbara Cemetery. see

Total records = 3.
The Sokol lodge symbol is the falcon and was organized in
1904 by Anton Janacek, John Zobec and Mike Jaske. Their main meeting
area was the falcon hall in Ronald. The main purpose of the lodge was
to promote patriotism and athletic skills among the membership. After
WWI the lodge declined. (from sign)
This definitely is an abandoned cemetery. It was owned and cared for
by the Sokol Lodge at one time. I felt bad I could find no more markers.
I am certain there must be more buried here. If anyone knows of more
burials, please contact me. Thanks to Tom Ninkovich, I was able to have these translated to English.
I surveyed this cemetery on Aug 19, 2001, using pencil and pad, plus
my digital camera. I will share photos if I have a good photo of the
stone you want. For more information
