Cemetery History

Established in the 1930s as an annex to the original Knights of Pythias Cemetery. The Knights of Pythias are an international non-sectarian fraternal order.

Notes

Cemetery is in very good condition and well cared for.  There is plenty of room for parking.   The oldest marked grave was from 1935 with the most recent burial being from 2016.

Cemetery Records

Records below were compiled by Suzanne Livingstone in April 2018 during a visit to the cemetery. These are the stones that are visible.  It is possible there may be other stones, some of which are no longer visible, either under grass or very weathered to where they are non legible.

A free online library of cemetery records from thousands of cemeteries across the world, for historical and genealogy research.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
