Cemetery History

Northern Italians chartered a Druids Lodge in Roslyn in 1900. The men’s order folded first, but the Druidessas’ lodge, Prosperity Circle No. 2, continued to operate until the mid-1950s.

Notes

Cemetery is in very good condition and well cared for.  There is plenty of parking.   The oldest marked grave was from 1906 and the most recent burial was 1927.

Cemetery Records

Records below were compiled by Suzanne Livingstone in April 2018 during a visit to the cemetery. These are the stones that are visible.  It is possible there may be other stones, some of which are no longer visible, either under grass or very weathered to where they are non legible.  There were at least 4 burial plots noted with no information.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
