Busch Cemetery
Hanson Station, Grant County, Washington

Lat: 47°47'11"N, Lon: 119°02'21"W

To reach the cemetery, go west from Almira on Hanson Station Road, which becomes 4NE once it enters Grant County. Turn north on Rd. V. NE and go three miles, then east on 47 NE for one mile, and following that road, one mile north, then east again for about one/half mile. The cemetery is up the long treed drive, all on private property.

The Busch Cemetery is located north of Almira which is located on the west side of Lincoln County on Highway 2. While the cemetery is located within Grant County, it serves Almira in Lincoln County also.

I gathered this information from data gathered during the compiling of The History of Almira, published in 1989, editor Pat Rice. I originally read this cemetery Nov 05, 1982.

The Busch family cemetery was revisited in Jun of 2003 and found to be much overgrown and uncared for. Shrubs have almost blocked the gate, a tree is becoming good sized inside the cemetery and the grass doesn't appear to have been cut this year. The first several times I saw this cemetery, it was evident someone cared, not so now.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
