From Leavenworth, take state highway 209 north, past Cascade High School. After about 1/4 mile, take the North Road to the right, crossing Chumstick Creek. Continue past the railroad underpass and take the first dirt road to the left, notice a sign saying "Leavenworth Cemetery." You will drive about 1/4 mile though the orchard.

The cemetery was first read by Marion and Joanne Calhoun in Apr and May 1983. Since then many of the unmarked graves now have small stones.

*denotes that this grave was found during the first reading of the cemetery by the Calhouns, but wasn't found during the second reading. There were a about 6 stones that were unreadable.

Obits are on file at the WAGS library in Wenatchee for many of the above. Fred Pflugrath finished walking the cemetery in Jul and Aug 2000. The cemetery is in good shape, being taken care of by a couple of families in Leavenworth. Any misspelling and wrong dates, please let Fred Pflugrath know. Thanks.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
