To reach cemetery take Neilsen Rd north, from the center of the town of Lind. The cemetery is on the right side of the road in about 1mi.

This cemetery was owned and maintained by the city of Lind WA. It was in very good condition and still active. As of January 2004, the Lind Cemetery is owned and operated by the newly created Adams County Cemetery District #3.

After walking this cemetery and reading the headstones I compared my work with a transcription done by the Adams County Historical Society assisted by the Lind Tredecim Club, Summer 1975.

I am deeply appreciative of the generous assistance and support given me by Myra Parish Horton, Clerk, Town of Lind and Irma Gfeller, Adams County Historical Society.

I have transcribed and compiled this in over a period of time from 1999 to 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
