5911 Ridge Road (Rte 655), Glenora VA

Lat: 38° 07' 32"N, Lon: 77° 47' 20"W

From the intersection of Route 601 and 655, go south/southwest on Ridge Road or Route 655 for .5 miles. The cemetery is on the east side of the road.

This is a small family cemetery that is in good condition. All of the burials are the Brooks Family. There is a old section of the cemetery, which is fenced. Next to the old section, there is a new section which is fenced in. Because I read three different Brooks Family Cemeteries that day and in the future, I will name the cemetery after the oldest male headstone.

This is all existing stones, from when I visited it on Apr 01, 2010.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
