Over 700 Civil War Confederate soldiers, many unknown, were reburied here from battlefields in and around Spotsylvania. CSA graves are grouped by state and include AL, AR, GA, LA, MI, NC, SC, TN, TX and VA. Open daily.

I walked the grounds and recorded all stones and plaques. This is a nearly complete listing as of Oct 17, 2011. I also found 201 unmarked white stone markers marking the burial place for that many unknown confederate soldiers.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
