Go southwest on Colonial Avenue in Roanoke, proceed past Ogden Road and turn south on Overdale Road, then west on Parkwood Drive. The burial ground is opposite 3604 Parkwood, in the Green Valley subdivision.

USGS maps call this the Hackett Cemetery.

It is no longer in use, but is in fair condition, and fenced.

This compilation is a combination of headstone readings, comparing with old family Bibles, and a publication by the Roanoke Valley Historical Society. Some information is from "Our Garst Family in America" and Mrs. Solloway.

I walked the cemetery and completed this transcription in March of 2000.
