Allen Homeplace Cemetery (Potters Field Cemetery)
Prince William County, Virginia

James Madison Highway
Thoroughfare, VA

Contributed by Ron Turner, Feb 17, 2002 [ronrturner@comcast.net]. Total records = 12.

I walked this cemetery 15 Sep 1996, doing a complete survey of all the tombstones. It is also known as Potters Field Cemetery.

Most of the graves are unmarked or marked with fieldstones. Five of the graves are marked with names.

The cemetery is in poor condition and completely overgrown in the summer. Some of the unmarked graves are listed, but I found no other information. I have placed an asterisk *after these names.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
