Marshall Cemetery (Davis Cemetery)
Fairfax County, Virginia

Lat: 38° 43' 10"N, Lon: 77° 16' 40"W

Contributed by Rich Agule, Apr 25, 2004 [richagule@yahoo.com]. Total records = 19.

The cemetery is at the intersection of Hampton Road (#647) and Ox Road (#123) in Fairfax County. This intersection is: south-east of the town of Burke and north-west of the town of Lorton.

A new sign reads: "The Marshall Cemetery - Circa 1856" All other information calls this the Davis Cemetery, and the listings seem to be mostly Davis. I could not find out when the name was changed from Davis to Marshall.

This is a complete listing of all gravestones in the cemetery. I completed transcribing it Feb 26, 2004.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
