Johnson Cemetery
Dawn, Caroline County, Virginia

17375 Highway 3 (Dawn Blvd), Dawn VA

Lat: 37° 49' 40"N, Lon: 77° 20' 13"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, Jul 19, 2010 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 13.

In Dawn, from the intersection of Highways 301 and 3 (Dawn Boulevard), go east/southeast on Highway 3 for 1.3 miles. The cemetery is on the north side of the road.

This is a small family cemetery that is in good shape. Most of the burials are from the Johnson family. Bethel United Methodist Church and Cemetery is across the highway but the Johnson Cemetery is not part of that church or the cemetery.

I walked this cemetery on Jul 16, 2010.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
