From Buckingham Courthouse: Proceed south on Rt 633 to Willis River. Cross the river and lying to the left/east side on the "bluff" on the SE side of intersection of Rt 633 & Willis River.

This cemetery is situated SE corner of the Willis River where it intersects with Rt 633, directly opposite the Rockmill Farm. It may have been the family cemetery for the Spencers.

It is situated in a farmfield on the bluff, north of the community of Areanum VA. Cemetery was in good condition. I do not know who owns the land it is on.

I walked this cemetery in 1980. This includes all existing and legible markers and stones at that time.
