Beginning at Farmville, VA, proceed west on Rt 460 Business to Rt 15. Go right (North) on Rt 15 to Sheppards. Proceed north through Sheppards and go left (NW) on Rt 709.

The cemetery is on the Black Soot farm (old Garnett Estate), which is located at the northern terminus of Rt 709.

I walked this cemetery in 1988. This includes all existing and legible markers and stones at that time. Cemetery was in good condition.
