Bean Cemetery
Montague County, Texas

Contributed by David Springer, Sep 26, 2002 [david@springer.net]. Total records = 21.

Located 8.2 miles east of Sunset on FM 1749, then 2.25 miles south into the Hartman Ranch, owned by Roy Hartman (940) 759-2585.

The cemetery is not available to the public without access from the land owner. The cemetery is not regularly maintained and is heavily over grown.

Considerable time was spend clearing the grave sites, so they could be photographed. There are 10 or more graves without engraved tombstones. I have photos of the other headstones, which I will share if you want ont.

Transcribed by David & Helene Springer and Roy Hartman on Aug 23, 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
