Lat: 31° 30' 30"N, Lon: 96° 20' 04"W

Contributed by Bruce Jordan, Oct 17, 2004 [bjordan@glade.net]. Total records = 8.

From the intersection of Hwy 164 and FM 39 go west on Hwy 164 towards Groesbeck for .2 mile. The cemetery will be visible on your right.

The Personville Cemetery was established in 1861. Rumor has it that there were several headstones removed from this cemetery. The cemetery is well maintained. The last burial was in 1905.

I compiled these records after reading this cemetery in April of 2004. It includes all existing headstones.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
