Hughes-Hyden Cemetery

From Groesbeck, go south on FM 937 about 10 miles. The cemetery is located on the left on FM 937. It is in a small grove of trees and is clearly visible from the road.

Eady Penetha Hyden married Jacob C. Hughes. This is the link that brought these two families together in this cemetery. There is a marker in the small cemetery which reads "In loving memory of loved ones burried in this Hyden-Hughes Cemetery from 1846. Hyden-Hughes, Rasco-Bates."

This is a family cemetery and is being maintained by the families. Only family members are still being buried there.
