From Groesbeck take FM 937 south to LCR 760 turning right. At LCR 748 turn right. Will pass the Pippin Cemetery and Phifer Cemetery before reaching Carroll Cemetery located on the left. Cemetery cannot be seen from the road as it is located behind a barn.

The Carroll Cemetery is in an area formerly known as the Beulah Community. The cemetery is adjacent to a barn located on the property of the Rand Bates family. Mr. Bates was told by Otis Sterm that there were 7 or 8 graves in the cemetery. In 2002, only one marker was located.

This record was transcribed from the tombstone reading by Bruce and Linda Jordan in April 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
